The Easton Technology Management Center's annual Cross-Campus Innovation Challenge is a great example of the spirit of collective effort which is essential to success, exemplifying an invaluable partnership between the Anderson school and the greater UCLA campus, our many students, faculty, and alumni who are committed to innovation and advancements in sustainability, healthcare, and generative AI. This initiative brings together UCLA students from all disciplines and backgrounds to create new ventures that can drive a positive change in society.

Uses AI, LiDAR, and high-resolution mapping to create ultra-precise urban data, enhancing safety, accessibility, and sustainability in cities.
Ginate
An organic soil enhancer made from nutrient-rich coal that boosts crop yields, reduces water use, and minimizes chemical dependency for sustainable farming.
HYenergy
Delivers on-demand green hydrogen to scale adoption in heavy machinery, starting at the Port of Los Angeles.
OpalAI
Uses satellite imagery and AI to predict wildfire risks, helping communities, insurers, and agencies mitigate disasters before they start.
