About Event

Input | Output (IO) and Fairgate are expanding what’s possible with Bitcoin DeFi. We’re developing a trust-minimized protocol to make Bitcoin assets (BTC, Ordinals, any UTxOs) directly usable in DeFi applications like lending, NFT-collateralized loans, Swaps, leveraged trading, and more.

This initiative features a unique security model and a groundbreaking UPLC to RISC-V compiler. This compiler allows expressive smart contracts written in Typescript, Haskell, or Aiken to be run or verified on Bitcoin via BitVMX, enabling a new generation of Bitcoin DeFi services.

Learn how we’re extending Bitcoin’s utility without compromising its core principles. Join Charles Hoskinson, CEO & Founder of IO, members of the Lace product team, and representatives from Fairgate, Babylon, and key Cardano ecosystem enablers for an insightful lunch and learn session at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 27.

Does this event make sense for you? We're looking for Bitcoin builders and users, institutions exploring adding Bitcoin to their portfolios, and any projects interested in embracing DeFi to join us. Space is limited to 100 attendees. Request to join above. The IO team will reach out to those whose attendance is confirmed.

Location
In person, Venetian Convention Center, Satoshi Social Room, Bitcoin Conference
