

Mini-hackathon on LLMs and APIs
LauzHack & the EPFL AI Team are hosting a beginner-friendly, mini hackathon with two tracks:
Using GenAI APIs (together.ai, HuggingFace, OpenAI, etc) to build multimodal applications.
LLM training: distributed training, small language models (SLMs), quantization, and exploring other tricks.
Hugging Face's LLM course has useful tips for both tracks (applications and training).

(Fri May 16, 10pm): end of day (can continue working at home)
(Sat May 17, 10am): breakfast
(Sat May 17, till 3ish): hack, hack, hack
(Sat May 17, 4pm): demos (separated by track)
You can form teams of up to 4.
