​Words are hard! Predicting SLA breaches using incident text.
In Words are Hard Andrew will touch on aspects of his ongoing journey in using data science, some common sense and a little bit of statistics (probably!) to save his tribe from wasting time with good intentions. Andrew will share why working on the SLA aspect of all things incident is currently important, describe certain steps from his work with classifiers, and, showcase some interesting issues he ran in to along the way so you don't repeat his mistakes.

In this talk, I will share my journey of building machine learning solutions for Nationale Vacaturebank (NVB), one of the Netherlands' leading job portals. Over the past four years, I've developed an MLOps platform, navigating the challenges of balancing accuracy with speed while enhancing the job-seeking experience and adhering to GDPR privacy regulations. I will discuss the lessons learned from both successes and setbacks, providing practical insights for those interested in creating and maintaining real-world ML platforms.
