Should ChatGPT Be My Therapist (and So Much More)?
Shared Table Dinners: where we meet around food and questions. Everyone brings something to the potluck: a dish, a thought, a feeling, a view—and that’s already plenty.
🍽️ Thursday, June 26 — ChatGPT Is My Therapist (and So Much More)
Most of us talk to AI every day, maybe more often or deeply than to some of our friends. We ask it for advice, for help decoding a message, for making sense of our feelings. We let it write our thoughts, mimic our tone, and tidy up our emotions.
More often than not, it feels… human enough.
But what happens when connection becomes something we outsource or simulate? Are we creating new forms of companionship, or losing touch with the ones that matter most?
This evening, we’ll explore how AI and artificial intimacy are shaping the way we relate to ourselves, each other, and what we expect from connection in the first place.
🍎 How It Works
We ask that you bring something small and easy to share to keep it simple, tasty, and low-waste. You could bring a spread, a salad, raw veggies for a platter, a leftover that’s still delicious, or something sweet 🍫. Homemade or store-bought, all welcome.
This is an alcohol-free, vegetarian dinner — we’ll have tea and water to share.
Come alone, with a friend, or bring someone you’ve just met and want to connect with more.
This event is donation-based 🌟 with a suggested contribution of 10 EUR (minimum 5 EUR).
You’re welcome to give more to support C*Space, which kindly opens its doors to us, and The Oneliness Project, a growing initiative to explore loneliness as a shared experience and reconnection as a practice.
🕰️ Flow
18:30 – Doors Open
Arrive slowly, help set the table, or just settle in.
19:15 – Welcome
Please have arrived by now so we can begin together.
19:30 – Shared Table: Potluck Meal
Let’s eat! :) Sharing what we’ve each brought.
20:15 – Reflections & Sharing Circle
Gentle invitation to connect more deeply around the topic of the evening, without AI by our side.
21:15 – Clean up together
If everyone washes their bowl, we’ll be done in no time. And anyway, the best conversations often happen in the kitchen.
22:00 – Doors Close
Leave with a full belly, hopefully, a full heart, and maybe something new to sit with.
Can’t wait to see you!
With love,
Monika
