Executive Assistants Meetup — Spotlight Speaker: Brando Ramos

​​If you are an Executive Assistant or EBP, this meetup is for you! We know from talking to many of you in the executive support world that your work comes with its own unique set of goals and challenges, and we want to create a space to talk about them.

​We're thrilled to have Brando Ramos, L&D Manager at L'Occitane, joining us as our guest speaker for this meetup. Why are we having an L&D manager speak at an EA meetup? Great question!

​Many of the EAs in the Gatheround community have expressed a desire to talk more about career path options and growth. Brando will share his career transition story, what skills he leveraged from his time as an EA to make it happen, and why he believes his time as an EA is by far the most formative part of his career journey to date.

​We'll weave in small group breakout conversation and group sharing into this meetup, too, so we can hear from everyone who attends.

​This meetup is part of our Gatheround Resource Group program. This group of EAs and EBPs get together quarterly to support each other as peers in the industry.

​Meet your speakers:

​Brando Ramos, L&D Manager at L'Occitane

​Brando Ramos has over a decade of experience working in the Beauty Industry, within different brands, functions, and roles! His career started as an Executive Assistant in a Fortune 500 company by supporting different Executives (and through their support as well), he carved his career in Learning & Development, leveraging his unique perspective (and network) to lead key Leadership Development and Culture Transformation initiatives. Brando has obtained certifications and attended workshops but has proudly claimed his most valuable learnings have come from his role as an Executive Assistant.
