Who is Antonello Sangirardi?

Antonello Sangirardi is an Italian contemporary ​dancer from Bari with a background in hip-hop ​and floor work.

After studying for two years in Paris at the Aid ​(Académie Internationale de la Danse) and one ​year in Marseille at the Ballet de Marseille while ​working with Ballet Preljocaj, Antonello joined ​Rambert from 2018 to 2024.

He has toured nationally and internationally ​performing works by Ohad Naharin, Sharon ​Eyal, Imre and Marne Van Opstal, Sidi Larbi ​Cherkaoui, Wim Vandekeybus, Alonzo King, Ben ​Duke, and Jill Johnson.

He was an assistant choreographer to Benoit Swan ​Pouffer for ‘All the World's Alive Again’, a collaboration between 'H-Magazine' and ​‘Nowness’, directed by Mariano Vivanco and ​Hassan Al Saleh.

He also performed with Laura Mvula, Fabien ​Incardona, Gió Sada, Soprano, FKA Twigs and others, navigating his career across ​film, music videos and TV.
