Join us for an SDGs fashion activation and a panel discussion where responsibility, innovation, technology and fashion intersect at The LAB Miami.
Accountable Impact, a local SDG Accelerator will highlight the UN SDGs, a framework of 17 global goals set forth to transform the world. The conversation will be centered around SDG 12 Responsible Consumption and Production.
The panel will share how the industry is leveraging digital tools to enhance craftsmanship, reduce waste, and foster inclusive and regenerative business models.
Educational initiative Future Fashion Concepts, a member of the United Nations Fashion and Lifestyle Network, will showcase designs that were created by five Istituto Marangoni Miami students who participated in the annual Future Fashion Concepts x Istituto Marangoni Challenge, displaying cutting-edge designs using Next Gen Materials derived from Mycelium, Cork, Wild Rubber, and other extraordinary natural sources. Future Fashion Concepts co-founder, Annette Felder and Istituto Marangoni Miami Fashion design students will explain the process on how nature-derived textile innovations and bio- tech are shaping the future of fashion—without compromising luxury, style, or quality.
