About the Event Hosts and Speakers:
Bellevue Fire Department serves the City of Bellevue and 6 contract cities (Beaux Arts, Clyde Hill, Hunts Point, Medina, Newcastle, and Yarrow Point). The Department is led by Interim Fire Chief Dave Tait. As one of the a select few firefighting agencies with a Class 2 rating from Washington State Survey and Rating Bureau, Bellevue Fire ranks in the top 1% of the nearly 47,000 departments in the United States.
Alex Dryer serves as the Fire Education Coordinator and Community Risk Reduction Specialist for Bellevue Fire. Her experience as both a middle school teacher and a 911 dispatcher brings a unique blend of skills to build risk reduction programs for community members of all ages. She believes prevention is key to making our community a better and safer place to be.
Brianna Mueller works for Bellevue Fire as the Grant Coordinator, but also administrates Bellevue's out-of-area wildland fire mobilization, and works as a part of Fire Prevention's wildland-urban-interface public outreach team. Brianna grew up in Newcastle, holds a B.A. in Education from Prescott College, and spent her early career ski patrolling and mountain guiding east of the Cascades before moving into grant management and nonprofit work. She joined Bellevue Fire in early 2024. Outside of work, she loves gardening, trail running, and horseback riding.
