[AR Lens Challenge] Lens Lab with Snap Lens Network Creator

​Ever wonder how Snap Lens Network Creator’s design their favorite lenses? All curious learners are welcome to join us for a 90-minute session with a Snap AR Network Creator, Roman Jaquez! As a current software engineer and co-founder of the community organization Tech4Hood,  Roman teaches children in the Massachusetts Merrimack Valley computer science through tools like Snapchat’s Lens Studio. By the end of the session, you will learn some helpful tools and tricks that you can apply in the process of designing your own AR Lenses!

​In order to ensure the best experience, please check off as many of the following requirements as you can before joining the Lens Lab:

• ​Computer

• ​Internet access

• ​Smartphone (with Snapchat downloaded)

​‍Make sure you have downloaded and tested the latest versions of the following software on your computer:

• ​Design software (either Adobe Illustrator, Figma, Canva, Inkscape, or another similar program)

• ​Lens Studio (compatible for MacOS 10.13+ & Windows 10 Devices - does not work on Chromebooks)

• ​Zoom

• ​Snap Camera (optional)

​If you're unable to get to all of these before the session today, don't worry! Make sure to hop on at 4:30 pm PT / 7:30 pm ET and participate either by following along or listening in!

​The Snap AR Lens Challenge is a learning experience where you will create and design your own augmented reality experiences using Snap’s Lens Studio software. We use a mix of self-guided modules and live workshops by AR experts to get you from curious explorer to Lens Creator.
