Launch Report Aligning Professional Services with Net-Zero
Join Race to Zero in New York Climate Week at this special event to launch a report on the opportunities for Professional Service Providers to engage on Serviced Emissions as part of net-zero action.
At COP28, the Race to Zero Working Group on Net-zero for professional service providers launched a discussion paper for consultation on Serviced Emissions and enhancing the opportunities for aligning the provision of services and advice by Professional Service Providers with 1.5C future.
After six months of engagement and an insightful consultation process with over 250 participants, the working group will now present its final report on the role of professional service providers in engaging with Serviced Emissions. The aim is to introduce this “work in progress” concept into the climate ecosystem, to catalyse testing, refinement, and adoption by others, in the process of moving towards standards and regulation. The session will highlight emerging best practices and ideas for the professional services sector to engage now with the challenge of serviced emissions proactively, ultimately aiding their journey towards achieving Net Zero emissions.
The in-person event will take place on Monday, September 23rd, at 10:00 a.m. (EDT) at WSP Offices, Penn Plaza. It will discuss recommendations and action areas to assist professional service providers in engaging with serviced emissions.
