Reclaiming our Inheritance for South Asian and Middle Eastern Women
How do Eastern women return to the richness of our culture, especially with the western influence infiltrating world wide? How do we release what wasn't working for us as Eastern women, but reclaim the goodness that we experienced from our traditions? Often the goodness is forgotten by us, as we "threw out the baby with the bath water". If you would like to explore and ignite again what is YOURS and find your own unique path back to your richness and beauty, join us for this introductory workshop.
Join us for this workshop where you will:
Practice a short guided meditation(s) to center into the moment (meditation experience not necessary)
Discuss to remember again and enliven the richness of women from South Asian and Middle Eastern cultures
Receive and connect with guided visualization and transmission
Set Intentions so you can take this forward in your life
I’m Ruchika Mehta, a psychospiritual teacher oriented towards integrating psychology and spirituality to enrichen our daily life. I am trained as psychotherapist practicing for almost 20 years. I am currently a Diamond Logos teacher in training, which is a way to integrate traditional and new age spirituality from different traditions, psychology and the body. I was born in India and moved to the US in early adolescence. In my westernization, I enjoyed finding my own unique path, but also like many others “forgot” the warmth, richness, and embodied femininity of the women who surrounded me growing up. I would love to reawaken and reclaim the beauty and richness of our hearts, bodies, and souls again.

Your attention and presence is necessary to co-create a field where we collectively tune in to re-membering and re-awakening of the forgotten Eastern woman inheritance. So please be prepared with :
Coming to the workshop a few minutes early as "virtual" doors may close 5-10 minutes after start time
A quiet space for the workshop where you can be present without distractions with the time blocked off to settle into your experience (mom exceptions - invite your baby into the field as quietly as possible if they have to be there)
Having tea/water during workshop is okay, but nothing else to eat or drink
Please keep your camera on at all times, though recommended you do not have to look directly at the screen
We may do break out rooms, so please be in a space where you can share and hear others confidentially
In order to preserve the integrity of the group and transmission and to honor the teachings and the participants of the group, you may be removed from the group if you are disruptive to the field, multitasking or not prepared to be present in the group with the camera on
Disclosures:
Please note this is a non psychotherapy group and is open to women of South Asian and Middle Eastern descent worldwide.
