Overview
In an era where the integrity of information is crucial, artificial intelligence plays an increasing role in content creation, distribution, and analysis. However, the risk of perpetuating cultural, racial, or gender-based biases remains a significant challenge.
This hackathon focuses on exploring how AI can be harnessed to identify, reduce, and ultimately eliminate bias in our information landscape. Participants will collaborate to develop innovative AI-driven tools, frameworks, and strategies aimed at ensuring a fair, inclusive, and trustworthy information ecosystem.
Goals
Develop AI-powered tools to identify and correct biased content
Foster collaboration between journalists, communicators, technologists, and ethicists
Promote diversity and inclusivity in AI development and deployment in media
Generate actionable insights and best practices for mitigating bias using AI
