About the Speaker & Topic

Leading Better Decisions

Sooner or later, we all realize that UX isn’t really about perfect pixels or insightful interviews. In the end, it’s about making user-centered things happen in our organizations. In other words, it’s about influencing decisions—through systems, culture, and one-on-one skills. And as with most things in UX, the best way to approach the problem has a lot to do with our context. Kim will share some helpful tools for influencing decisions no matter where you are in the organization

Kim Goodwin is the bestselling author of Designing for the Digital Age.

She has spent over 30 years in UX and product, leading both agency and in-house teams. Kim’s work has ranged from consumer applications to mission-critical healthcare, aviation, and financial products at tiny startups and Fortune 500 companies.
