​Have a design you want to fully develop and ship? Join us virtually on February 5th to hear Chevy Chanpaiboonrat share her journey with design, networking, sourcing, prototyping, and shipping to create her business, Buddy. Her journey is proof that it's never too soon to make a vision happen.

Chevy Chanpaiboonrat is a recent product design graduate from Parsons School of Design. After graduating in 2023 with the School of Constructed Environments Honors Award, she began her career as an industrial designer for a kitchenware brand in New York City. While working full-time, she leveraged her Parsons community to connect with professionals in the design industry, gaining valuable insights that helped her turn her capstone project, Buddy, into a small business.

​Chevy is now working full-time on bringing her Buddy mood lamps to life. This journey has led her to exhibit the lamps at WantedDesign's Launch Pad at ICFF last summer, where she received the Next Generation of Originality Award from Be Original Americas. She recently launched Buddy’s pre-order campaign, with products expected to ship by the end of April this year.
