About the speakers:

  • Judith Denton - Founder and CEO of The Transformed You Community Interest Company

Judith grew up in Foster Care, and faced challenges such as school and college exclusions, run ins with the law and a crisis which led to a period of poor mental health.

As a Care Leaver she discovered her purpose: to inspire change through her lived experience. Now, Judith is the Founder and CEO of The Transformed You, an Intervention and Support Mentoring Service for children in care and care leavers, and The Black Care Experience, aimed at improving the care experience for black children and young people.

Judith is also an influential speaker, trainer, consultant, and author. Her books, Foster Care and Me detail her journey through the care system, and The Purpose Built Business (2nd Edition), is her guide on how to become a purpose-driven social entrepreneur.
