Grow the Good Seeds: Loving-Kindness Yoga + Meditation
Think of a moment when you experienced unconditional love (right now. for real. I’m inviting you to move your mind with me.)
Remember the way that moment made you feel – simultaneously free and safe. Exhilarated and in no rush. Full of limitless potential and completely whole exactly as you are… If you experienced it once, you can experience it again – and if you could live in that state of mind, why wouldn’t you try?
The trick is to remember where the love came from.
Hint (actually, dead give-away): it was not, is not, and never will be -- separate from you.
Expect a bit of philosophy, breathwork, meditation, and heart-opening yoga to cultivate loving-kindness.
Guided By: Daniel LaBarbera
Daniel is a life-loving student (of the mind, the body, and the earth) who sings on sidewalks and dances while doing dishes. He is a certified yoga instructor (Modo Yoga NYC) and meditation teacher (Three Jewels NYC) who makes magic out of the mundane.
He brings a beginner’s mindset to his practice and moves through each shape ~mental & physical~ with joyful effort. Daniel feels most alive while in the service of others – specifically when creating spaces for others to connect with themselves (listen to their divinity within, expand their capacity to love, remember where their reality stems from). He is excited to be part of the Reforesters community and is humbled to share the love-drenched ancient wisdom of yoga and meditation with his students.

Reforesters Laboratory is an experimental adaptogenic cafe and sound clinic located in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. We utilize music – including spatial, sub-bass-centered, and organic instrumentation – along with breathwork, meditation, art, plant care and adaptogenic, nutritional foods + beverages to cultivate kindness—both physical and spiritual. We aim to create an environment that offers peace, space, and clarity, helping people understand the connections between themselves, their communities, and the world around them. To that end, we offer "pay what you can" ticket options on all events and classes.
