Women Shaping the Arts Vol. II - Powered by Le Labo
Bluelobster Art is excited to announce our highly anticipated live event series, Women Shaping the Arts Vol. II, with our newest gallery partner, KORNFELD Galerie on November 28th at 18:30h CET.
“I believe in the possibility of art being disruptive and trying to break boundaries and resist prior tendencies and norms of society.” - Graciela Carnevale, Argentinian Artist
🎙️ As this event series continues to evolve, we seek to facilitate intelligent dialogue across various art forms, mediums, practices, and institutions in Berlin and beyond. This panel talk and networking night will explore the aesthetic and rhetoric of fragmentation and the merits of complex identities across cultures and continents; new models of experimentation for artistic and cultural institutional programming; and take a deep dive into Berlin's artistic and cultural landscape through the eyes of a young gallerist.
🎨 The evening will also explore ways that Gallery Directors can reanimate ideas of scale and philanthropy in artistic and cultural institutions, investigate methods that young agents in the art world can experiment with to rearrange the limits and borders placed in galleries, and highlight non-commercial approaches to selling art in an ever changing competitive landscape.
⭐ Join us with your complimentary glass of wine, beer, or other non-alcoholic beverage of your choice as we uplift, inspire, and connect with the wonderful women and non-binary humans that make our city so special!
*A livestream link will be available on the day of the event.*
