Polars Meetup - Polars Cloud and Acceleration

​Join the second edition of our Polars Meetup with talks from Ritchie Vink (Polars) and Vyas Ramasubramani (NVIDIA) to discuss accelerating and scaling DataFrames with Polars.

​This event is an in-person event in San Francisco at Bain Capital Ventures HQ.

​The first talk of the evening is from Ritchie Vink, author and co-founder of Polars. He will introduce Polars Cloud, the platform to scale Polars remotely and run on a novel distributed engine.

​The second talk is by Vyas Ramasubramani, cuDF Python Lead @ Nvidia. During the talk Vyas will discuss how Polars is not bound to CPU and how it is possible to run the same query with GPU-accelerated execution.

​After the talks, there is time for drinks during which you can meet and talk to other Polars users.
