The Tech Bros is a social enterprise run by Milette and Sedinam with the aim of funding female-founded tech companies. We target exclusively women in highly technical fields, with a focus on postgrads and PhDs, and help them go from 0 to 1 through our hands-on events. We're launching our accelerator program in the summer of 2025, with a particular focus on AI / ML, robotics, aerospace, and quantum startups. To learn more check out our LinkedIn, Instagram, X or Website.

The WOMENinSTEM@IC Group is the official group at Imperial College affiliated to the Women’s Engineering Society (WES).

Our goals are to:

  1. Inspire and support girls and women to achieve their full potential as engineers, applied scientists and technical leaders.

  2. Provide a platform for personal and professional growth (via mentorship, outreach, networking and counselling).

  3. Improve the retention of young women STEM graduates in sciences by creating a warm and supportive networking space.

  4. Increase the exchange of ideas between departments at Imperial, with a focus on enhancing career opportunities of all post-graduate students and staff.

  5. Facilitate dialogue, connections and collaborations between all group stakeholders (industrial partners, academia, students and staff) and challenging partners to further diversity within their organisation.
