Astra | Young Builders Symposium
Astra is a student-run open collective of young builders, artists, filmmakers, engineers, coders, learners, researchers, founders, and designers to showcase their work and ideas.
This is for the Friday night hackers, the artists crafting new worlds, and the curious minds who build just because. Whether you’re shipping side projects at midnight, stitching tiny dragons crochets on the subway, composing glitchy beats in your dorm room, or storyboarding short films on the back of your notebook — come meet your people.
Be inspired by folks creating what they love — and if you’ve got something cool, show it off. The event is open to all!
We thank Highline Beta for providing us with venue space for the symposium, as well as Inovia Capital and Panache Ventures for their support!
ἄστρα
In ancient Greek, Astra referred to the celestial bodies in the night sky, symbolizing light, guidance, and infinite potential. The stars were not just points of illumination but also metaphors for the vast unknown — things waiting to be discovered, explored, and understood.
