Join us in celebrating Positiveblockchain's 5 years anniversary!

We are excited to use this opportunity and bring together leading ecosystem organization, friends and partners from the Berlin community and beyond.

Global impact blockchain ecosystem members from INATBA, the IOTA Foundation, EUBOF, BC 100+, Berlin Partner, BerChain, Lisk Center, Celo, Climate Collective, ECOTA and more will come together during a series of events in Berlin on June 1-3. More info on the three events here.

The Friday, June 2 event will showcase speakers from different ecosystem players who will share their work, new initiatives, and the latest trends in the blockchain for good space.

Whether you are a web3 professional or simply curious about the potential of blockchain for social and environmental impact, this event is for you.

You will have the opportunity to network and connect with like-minded individuals and exchange ideas about your projects. We also welcome your input on further strengthening the blockchain ecosystem and creating more sustainable and equitable solutions for global Sustainable Development Goals.

Following the speaker presentations, we will move on to the fun part with networking and a party. We look forward to celebrating with you.

PositiveBlockchain is the open database, knowledge platform, and community exploring the potential of blockchain technologies for social and environmental impact. The database currently lists more than 1400+ projects and startups using blockchain technologies for good. Projects are either crowd-sourced or identified and qualified by PositiveBlockchain or its alliance partners comprising associations, universities, or blockchain foundations. PositiveBlockchain is a contributor-based non-profit association registered in Paris and active globally.

INATBA is the International Association for Trusted Blockchain Applications; INATBA is a global forum whose members include industry representatives from the blockchain ecosystem, startups to big players, global and regional banks, VCs, Governments and governmental organizations, academia, and NGOs. INATBA offers the whole blockchain ecosystem a global forum to interact with regulators, policymakers, and relevant stakeholders to bring blockchain technology to the next stage.

IOTA is a German Foundation; it aims to function as an enabler for ecosystems and promote Digital autonomy for everyone. IOTA collaborates with a global ecosystem to research and develop technologies that deliver sustainable, real-world impact.

EUBOF - the EU Blockchain Observatory and Forum - is a European Commission initiative to accelerate blockchain innovation and the development of the blockchain ecosystem within the EU and so help cement Europe’s position as a global leader in this transformative new technology.

Celo is the carbon-negative, mobile-first, EVM-compatible blockchain ecosystem leading a thriving new digital economy for all.

Berlin Partner is a unique public-private partnership collaborating with the Berlin State Senate and over 270 companies dedicated to promoting their city. Berlin Partner is also responsible for marketing the German capital to the world, for example, with the successful “Be Berlin” campaign.

ECOTA - the European Carbon Offset Tokenization Association - is a think tank that aims to find token-based solutions for a route to a net-zero Europe.

BC100+ is a global initiative, under the High Patronage of H.E. Csaba Körösi, President of the 77th UN General Assembly, that aims to convene the blockchain ecosystem to the broader efforts of UN Agencies and global initiatives in support of the UN Charter values and the SDGs by mapping global Blockchain for Sustainability ecosystems.

UNIC (University of Nicosia) has an eight-year track record as the leading university in the field of blockchain and the metaverse. UNIC launched the world’s first-degree program in cryptocurrency in 2014. Today, UNIC has educated over 100,000 students in academic and professional training courses, hosts the world’s largest team of faculty and staff focused on crypto-assets and blockchains, and serves as the academic lead for the EU Blockchain Observatory and Forum. Its latest MOOC on NFTs and the Metaverse – the first one in the world- had over 20,000 registrants and is taught by world-renowned lecturers.

Lisk is a blockchain application platform that provides a JavaScript SDK, equipping developers with a set of tools for creating blockchain applications. While maintaining a focus on its core technology, Lisk also achieves carbon negativity through offsets and actively promotes green applications via their accelerator, showcasing their commitment to eco-friendly practices.

The ICT, Media, and Creative Industries Cluster Berlin-Brandenburg comprises around 52,000 companies with almost 290,000 employees and an annual turnover of around 33 billion euros.

BerChain e.V is a non-profit association. Its mission is to connect and promote the Berlin Blockchain Ecosystem, amongst itself and with external stakeholders. Together we are bringing the Berlin Blockchain Ecosystem to the next level and ensuring Berlin is and remains the place to be for Blockchain, and through the regional advantage, further the technology and in particular its democratic potential. Furthermore, it promotes science and research and the advancement of education, popular education, and vocational training.
