Constructor theory and quantum gravity experiments

Abstract: On the year that marks quantum theory’s 100th birthday, I will tell you about an exciting new experimental proposal, rooted into post-quantum information tools I have pioneered (constructor theory). This experimental proposal can test quantum effects in gravity for the first time in history. If realised, this experiment would be the first experimental evidence violating Einstein’s theory of relativity and confirming that quantum theory is universal as far as we know. It would also open a first experimental window on the future fundamental laws of physics.
Bio: Chiara's research interests are at the foundations of physics. Her research has focused on issues in Quantum Information Theory, Condensed-Matter Physics, Quantum Biology and Thermodynamics. Some of her recent work has utilised a recently proposed generalisation of the quantum theory of information - constructor theory - to address issues at the foundations of the theory of control and causation in physics.
