Leviathan Screening - Toronto Premiere + Afterparty
🎥 Leviathan Screening – Toronto Premiere + Afterparty
What if the roots of today’s crises run deeper than politics, deeper than carbon, and all the way into our minds?
Join us for a one-night screening of Leviathan, a cinematic inquiry into the cognitive, cultural, and civilizational patterns fueling today’s metacrisis.
Directed and produced by Alexander Beiner, Leviathan is a cinematic journey into the deep structures shaping today’s metacrisis: from collapsing trust and media distortion to the myths and mindsets driving systemic breakdown. Featuring thinkers like Yanis Varoufakis, Nora Bateson, and John Vervaeke, the film invites us to see beyond surface crises and into the cultural and cognitive roots of our moment.
If you are concerned about the potential and risks of AI (or AGI, ASI, etc.), ecological collapse, WWIII, or other facets of the metacrisis, join us for a one-night screening and afterparty to explore what it means to meet the metacrisis with imagination and depth.
Come to think, feel, question, and stay after to connect.
