Speaker Bio

Megan established The (em) Collective, a coaching & training venture applying lessons from international peacebuilding about collaboration, leadership, and power dynamics to everyday work culture. She’s an expert in identity-based conflict and developed The (em) Co’s approach while working on conflict transformation & institution-building in Afghanistan, Iraq, Rwanda, Mali, Syria and elsewhere for the UN and Stanford. Clients include Google, Slack, Fortune 500 companies, nonprofits, and universities. Megan has been interviewed by Forbes, Refinery29, The Modern Guide to Equality, and Women of Silicon Valley about culture, power, and equity.

In addition to The (em) Co, Megan teaches negotiation at Stanford Law and is a conflict consultant to the United Nations and Forest Whitaker's Peace and Development Initiative. She is on the US Dept of State's Roster of Fulbright Specialists as an expert in education systems design.
