About Event

Purpose driven comms. What’s it all about? How do you get into it? Does anyone like me work in it? Is it flexible to my needs? Would I be any good at it? If you’re asking yourself questions like these and have no clue how to answer them, come on down to Sponge – an event series designed to help underrepresented talent get into the industry.

Soak up the wise words of seasoned pros who each have a unique story to tell and tips and tricks to share.

The first evening of the events series will focus on strategy and account management and will held in partnership with Black Strat. The conversation will be moderated by Revolt’s very own Clarice Metzger:

🙋🏿 Authentic representation, inclusive practices, and the curation of intentional spaces are what make this Sierra-Leonean American Strategy Director tick.

Showering the audience with honest conversation and sound advice will be:

Mike Alhadeff, panellist

🙋🏻‍♂️ Creating spaces where everyone feels welcome is what gets this seasoned global brand strategist out of bed every morning.

Bonita Samuels, panellist

🙋🏿  Helping brands grow through underrepresented audiences is just one of the reasons Bonita was named in Media Week’s 30 Under 30.

🙋🏾‍♀️  Amrit Kaur Bassi, panellist

Designing award-winning behaviour-change campaigns that drive social impact is just one string on the ever-growing bow of this Punjabi communications professional.

🧠 You don't need to bring anything other than your curiosity (and maybe a notebook).

🍕 Pizza and soft drinks will be provided

📸 Please note we'll be capturing photos and videos throughout the event
