Silicon Archipelago: A Salon On Open Distributed Southeast Asian Tech Futures

​In this online salon, co-hosted by Summer of Protocols (SoP), Seapunk Studios, and the Global Chinese Community (GCC), we will imagine and explore visions of open, distributed tech futures inspired by the seas and archipelagos of Southeast Asia, as well as its fragmented mainland geographies. While the rest of the world gets sucked into the vortex of Great Power competition, can Southeast Asia offer an alternative vision of technology inspired by its own decentralized geography?
