John is a licensed professional engineer based in San Francisco with Geosyntec Consultants, where he advises clients on navigating PFAS-related challenges. His work focuses on site investigation, remediation, environmental due diligence, and litigation support. He led the development of a U.S. Department of Defense-funded framework for evaluating PFAS treatment technologies.
Erica Spitzig – Partner, Taft Law
Erica is a partner at Taft Law, which specializes in PFAS litigation and advisory services for clients impacted by PFAS contamination. She has extensive experience representing clients in Clean Water Act matters and advising municipalities on water-related legal and regulatory issues. Prior to joining Taft, Erica was deputy general counsel for the National Association of Clean Water Agencies (NACWA), where she led legal and regulatory advocacy on behalf of public wastewater and stormwater utilities nationwide.
Michelle Bellanca- CEO, Claros Technologies
Michelle Bellanca is the CEO at Claros Technologies, a Series B startup pioneering in PFAS detection and complete destruction. Claros has secured major partnerships and funding from Kureha and Lanxess. Before Claros Michelle has over two decades at 3M, including roles as Global Business Director and Managing Director of Strategic Ventures in Asia Pacific.
