A Non-residential In-Person and Online Retreat With Ajahn Jotipalo

Description

A weekend of practice with a focus on Metta (goodwill) and walking meditation.

What can you accomplish in a weekend. Possibly a lot! The two days will be structured to have instructions at the beginning of the morning and afternoon periods, and an informal Q&A at the end of each day. There will be plenty of time to settle into the rhythm of the days.

Suitable for beginner or experienced practitioners.

About Ajahn Jotipalo

Jotipalo Bhikkhu ordained at the Abhayagiri Buddhist Monastery in Redwood Valley, CA in June 2000.

As a monk, he has lived in various Ajahn Chah branch monasteries in Canada, New Zealand, Thailand and the United States. He currently resides at Birken Forest Buddhist Monastery, British Columbia.

In addition to traditional sitting and walking practice, Jotipalo Bhikkhu explores ways to use time in nature as meditation practice, as well as how to use creative arts as a meditation subject.

Cost

Because the Buddha's teachings are considered to be priceless, and in keeping with the teachings and spirit of generosity or dana, this retreat is freely offered. Donations are welcomed.

Ajahn Jotipalo's requisites are provided through generous donations from lay supporters.

The suggested donation for organizational costs for this two-day event is $50. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.
