Ag Data Wallet UX Collabathon Wrap Up: Trust and Technology in Agriculture
Join us as we present our findings and recommendations from the ADW Collabathon UI/UX Collabathon.
This project was a collaborative effort between Terran Collective, Purdue Axilab, Tech Matters, and OpenTEAM to explore the ag data wallet (ADW) concept. The ADW is a conceptual digital storage system focused on the desire to give producers greater control over their data, enabling them to manage permissions, provide consent for data sharing, and improve transparency in their interactions with AgTech systems. Over the past year, this group has;
Developed a landscape review: reviewing the state of research and practice on concepts related to trust, sovereignty, data sharing, privacy, and related topics in human-computer interaction, in the context of the agricultural community.
Interviewed Technical Subject Matter Experts on topics such as on ag data education, policy, and interoperability
Interviewed farmers and technical assistance providers to understand the challenges related to data and technology
Developed UX Design Patterns and ADW Design Recommendations
