CCL Lobbying & NY HEAT Teach-in

​Are you ready to take action to pass critical climate legislation in New York State next year? Do you enjoy leveling up your knowledge for the betterment of your whole community? Welcome to the CCL lobbying and NY HEAT teach-in, where we’ll gather in community to break bread, brush up our lobbying skills, and get fired up for NY HEAT. Whether you're a seasoned advocate or just curious about getting involved, this is the perfect opportunity to learn, share, and take meaningful action so that you’ll feel grounded when we’re calling legislators or marching in Albany next year. So bring your ideas, your energy, and maybe a friend or two, and let's chart the path to a sustainable future!

​This will be the first of two teach-ins to help get involved with the community and pumped to win next year! The subject will be our priority climate legislation, starting with NY HEAT and then diving into Cap, Trade and Invest. You’re welcome to join for both or either, as always what you put in is what you get out!

​A community meal will be served before we dive into discussion, prepared lovingly by the CCL Environmental Justice Action Team. You're welcome to bring your favorite refreshment or snack to share with the group.
