Invitation to USAID Sauti National Conference on P/CVE Policy and Programming in Kenya
Dear Kimari,
On behalf of the USAID Sauti Yako, Amani Yako programme consortium members, the Centre for Human Rights and Policy Studies (CHRIPS) invites you to a National Conference titled, Reflecting on the impact of research, policy, and programming on enabling Whole-of-Government (WoG) and Whole-of -Society (WoS) responses to Violent Extremism in Kenya. It will take place on 12th - 13th March 2024 at Muthu Silver Springs Hotel, Valley Road in Nairobi.
The conference will bring together state actors, members of civil society organisations, researchers, academics, and development partners to share insights and debate critical issues related to implementation and integration of whole of society and whole of government approaches to P/CVE, particularly the measures to mainstream knowledge and skills across different institutions and sectors, and to promote local-decision making on P/CVE at community levels. The conference aims to foster stakeholder collaboration and dialogue to develop actionable strategies for addressing violent extremism in Kenya.
Please find attached the conference agenda and concept note, which outline the topics to be discussed and the objectives of the event.
