Alex Katz - Alex is a general counsel at ff VC. He has been working with seed, early-stage and growth companies for over 30 years. As a CPA and an attorney, Alex manages the firm’s accounting and legal operations, investment processes, regulatory compliance, and the establishment and implementation of other policies and procedures. Prior to ff VC, Alex practiced law with Mesirov Gelman and was a founding partner of Katz and Miele, LLP, a tax and corporate law specialty firm. He served as Chief Executive Officer of Fastener Distribution and Marketing Company, Inc. In addition, Alex was Chief Financial Officer of Lenape Dynamic, Inc. He has also worked as a Certified Public Accountant.
Jozef Maruscak - Jozef managed to start multiple legal tech start-ups during his studies at Cambridge University, for which he received a Forbes 30 under 30 award. Venturing from the legal tech space into software development, Jozef co-founded Sudolabs and is currently leading business strategy and sales departments.
Marek Krizka - Marek, a distinguished Georgetown University and King’s College London alum, has combined his passion for law and business to become the CEO of Sparring, a modern law firm aimed at providing accessible legal services to startups. His ventures also include the legal tech startups Verdikto and Trama, focusing on delivering quick legal advice and streamlined trademark registration through automation. Committed to value-based leadership and technology, his work has earned him significant recognition including Forbes 30 under 30, with his efforts further extending to advocacy for diversity and inclusion as an LGBTQ+ leader.
