C3+ Fireside Chat w/ Mike Jackson

​Mike Jackson is an investor in residence with Elemental Excelerator and working on something new. Prior to Elemental Exclerator, Mike has been a partner at the Westly Group, a clean energy-focused venture capital firm based in Silicon Valley with over $300 million under management. In this role, he led investments in to several of the firm’s portfolio companies, including Simple Energy, Enerkem, Honest Buildings, Good Eggs, and others. He has played key roles in the firm in sourcing, evaluating new opportunities, serving on boards, and fundraising.

​Prior to the Westly Group, Mike was co-founder and CEO of Village Green Energy, a retail provider of renewable energy certificates. Before this, he served as India Program Lead at the Program on Energy and Sustainable Development at Stanford University.

​Mike holds a Master’s Degree in Energy Engineering, as well as a double major in Biology and Earth Systems, all from Stanford University.
