Hi, Shakers!

Are you ready for another exhilarating ID Power Hour session? Well, fasten your seatbelts because we're in for a fantastic ride with none other than the remarkable Dr. Dawn DiPeri.

So, what's on the agenda for this session, you ask? We're diving deep into the crucial topic of meeting the needs of learners with disabilities and the art of designing for accessibility. As we all understand, this plays a pivotal role in the realm of learning design.

Let's get to know our esteemed guest a bit better:

Dr. Dawn Lee DiPeri is the global content lead for the Learning Passport at UNICEF. In this pivotal role, she curates, creates, translates, and adapts content to bridge educational gaps worldwide. Beyond that, she provides personalized consultations on educational technology and online pedagogy, all while championing content partnerships on a global scale. Prior to her tenure at UNICEF, Dawn's career encompassed roles as a learning designer, faculty developer, and professor, where she taught subjects ranging from new media and graphic design to educational technology for aspiring educators.

Dr. DiPeri holds a Doctorate in Management, Higher Education, Teaching and Learning, a Masters of Fine Arts in Advertising, and a Bachelors of Technology in Visual Communications.

In her precious moments of free time, Dawn is a passionate explorer of new educational technology and AI tools, an avid reader, a dedicated language learner, and a lover of the great outdoors, especially on the scenic east end of Long Island, NY, where she enjoys quality time with her husband and three wonderful children.

Don't miss out on this incredible opportunity! Secure your spot, and I can't wait to see you there!
