Join Victoria van Oppen in Frankfurt am Main for International Generalist Day - a global celebration happening simultaneously across cities worldwide on September 3rd, 2025.
This year we have events across 30+ countries and 80+ locations!
Victoria is hosting a "Sip & Share" evening where you can meet fellow generalists and share your unique career story over your favorite summer drink. If the weather's nice and the mood strikes, you might even take a lovely stroll along the Main River after drinks!
What is a generalist? Professionals who apply their skills across multiple domains, connect disparate ideas, or serve as "translators" between different teams and disciplines. If you've ever felt your career doesn't fit in a single box, this celebration is for you.

Your host Victoria is a feminist industrial engineer with a deep love for human psychology who also teaches yoga and is taking gradual steps into the world of diversity and inclusion. Her favorite part about being a generalist? "The thrill of observing the world with eyes wide open, absorbing juicy bits and pieces from all the layers that conform it."
As Victoria shares: "Being a generalist myself, I often struggle to fit into standard job descriptions or to easily explain what I bring to the table. I love this chance to meet other generalists, be inspired by them, and learn from their journeys."
