Becoming a Talent Investor - Insight Evening
Entrepreneurs First relies on a unique role - Talent Investors (TIs) - to find and nurture the founders of the future.
As we grow the team, EF is opening its doors to individuals who are curious about what doing this role is really like. Over the course of the evening:
We will tell you more about the role
Current Talent Investors will share their stories about how they came into the role and answer any of your questions
You will have the opportunity to have a drink and chat with the team, and other attendees, about your ambitions.
What do Talent Investors do?
Talent Investors have the privilege of working at the cutting edge, amongst exceptional people. Fundamentally, your role is to identify people you believe in, and work closely with them from initially developing an idea to building a seed-funded company, and beyond.
The role is for people who believe, on an ideological level, in the potential technology has to transform the future for the better, and that unblocking talented people to build is where the leverage is.
What requirements do you have?
There are no fixed requirements for people applying to the role -talent investors come from all sorts of backgrounds - which gives you the freedom to develop your own identity and carve out your own niche. However, without clear expectations, it can be difficult to understand whether the role will be a fit for you.
If you are able to see potential where others don't and you are not afraid to back your hunches, this might be the role for you. We're on a mission to diversify our ranks and ensure our team reflects the founders we're betting on.
