In-Depth: Point Blue Conservation Science

​Point Blue staff will showcase their newly released Crop-C Program, featuring a guide for monitoring changes in carbon on croplands. This technical resource was collaboratively developed for non-scientist audiences to effectively track changes at the field scale, resulting from common conservation management practices. This talk will highlight the features of this flexible framework, how it can be applied effectively to different use-cases, and how it compares to the original Range-C Program for rangelands. A Scoping Paper for Crop-C was published in February 2024 that provides background information about this effort and the range of considerations being integrated in it.
