Michael is a filmmaker and culture hacker and creator of This is Definitely Real, a company combining movies and interactive stories. Reality Games, which will be released alongside an interactive marketing story modeled after disinformation campaigns, blurs the line between reality and fiction. The film invites viewers into a nuanced, experiential conversation about how our narratives can be hacked and controlled, and what we can do about it.
Michael was also Chief of Staff to Facebook whistleblower Frances Haugen, advising on strategy through her DC, London, and Europe advocacy tours. He has studied the discourse on how technology influences culture, and solutions from domains of politics, media, and personal growth.
