Attack! of the Sporelings [PT15]

​Welcome to DnD Networking Night!

​We’ll be playing a game I’m currently developing called Attack! of the Sporelings. It’s a roguelike one-shot that runs on the 5e engine and is heavily inspired by Marvel’s Venom. You will each be playing a tiny alien ooze with the ability to possess NPCs and unlock powerful mutations.

​We’ll start the session as you crash land into a planet - your mission is to consume the minds and bodies of its inhabitants to rule the planet as your own.

​You are very much an evil parasitic species that consumes planets whole before moving on to the next. I encourage you to come up with a name and light back story but you can easily do so while we’re reading through the instructions so you have a bit more context.

​You’ll be provided with a Sporeling stat block and will unlock additional NPC stat blocks, items, and mutations throughout the session. Almost everything is standard 5e content and I’ll provide everything you need to play when you log in - no need for prep : )

​Schedule (ET):

• ​09:00 - Welcome/Introductions

• ​09:30 - Review Game Rules

• ​09:45 - Start Playing

• ​12:30 - End Session**

​**If people want to keep playing, I’m down to go until ~1:30am ET at the latest. We’ll decide as a party, night of and as we play. If you need to leave early, no worries - this is a super casual game and you can drop at any time!

​Grab your drink of choice and get ready for a couple of hours of shenanigans and laughs that will last a lifetime with new friends : )
