Defiant Together Does PorchFest

​Defiant Together is an activist collective formed in the wake of the 2024 election to find support amongst each other through community action and mutual aid.

​As part of this collective, we created a small chorus focused on learning and performing protest music. Through musical collaboration, performance, and advocacy, we build bonds with each other and seek to forge connections within the greater community.

​Please join us at PorchFest for our first-ever public performance! We will be singing a number of protest songs, and encourage members of the community to participate in whatever capacity they'd like. Lyric sheets and percussion instruments will be available, as well as ample sidewalk space for those who'd simply like to listen.

​We'll also be raising awareness and funds for: Somerville for Palestine, Mutual Aid for Medford and Somerville (MAMAS) and the LUCE defense hotline.
