Climate Confessional: Charlie Sellars

​We are excited to launch our first-ever Climate Confessional with Charlie Sellars, author the #1 best-selling climate book, What we Can Do and one of the youngest sustainability directors at Microsoft.

When I first met Charlie, his humor, optimism, and authenticity was truly contagious, and I'm so excited he agreed to be our opening speaker for this series. In this interview, I'll get to know his unique career transition, from starting out with no experience in the climate space, to now, being one of the youngest sustainability directors at Microsoft and author of a #1 best selling climate book!

​During our time together, we'll be discussing themes like: making any job a sustainability creative job, learning how to advocate for your creative ideas and speak the language of business in sustainability, and overcoming challenges as an author. We'll also be doing a raffle for 2 copies of his #1 best-selling climate book, What We Can Do. Join us!

​The purpose of the Climate Confessional is to share your unique story with our community so others can learn from you, get to know you and explore a new area of the sustainability creative sector. Not only will this segment allow your peers to learn from you, but also give you a platform to amplify your work and grow your network. We will interview you on a topic of your choice and collaborate with you to tell a compelling story for a wide audience of Sustainability Creatives. This may look like a deep dive into what you do in your job, your career journey, a career horror story, a project you’ve been working on, something you’ve overcome in the past, a special talent or anything in between.
