About Event

Join Greenthing Kenya for an intimate, hands-on workshop in our serene garden sanctuary in Westlands. This immersive 5-hour experience will transform your relationship with waste and inspire practical sustainable living habits.

What to Expect

Make & Take Stations - Create and bring home:

  • Beautiful fabric art from upcycled textile scraps

  • Custom natural cleaning products in repurposed containers

Repair Corners - Give new life to old belongings:

  • Get professional help from our skilled tailor at the "Stitch & Save" station

  • Have your favorite shoes assessed and repaired at our "Sole Revival" corner

Clothes Swap - Refresh your wardrobe sustainably with our "New-to-You Treasures" exchange

Live Music - Enjoy acoustic performances throughout the event, including a special sunset closing session

Workshop Schedule

  • 2:00 PM - Welcome & Introduction to Zero Waste Principles

  • 2:30 PM - First Rotation: Hands-on Stations

  • 4:00 PM - Community Break with Zero-Waste Refreshments

  • 4:45 PM - Second Rotation: Hands-on Stations

  • 6:30 PM - Sunset Closing Circle & Future Plans Discussion

  • 7:00 PM - Workshop Concludes

What to Bring

  • 1-2 clothing items needing repair

  • 1 pair of shoes needing attention

  • 2-3 clean, gently-used clothing items for the clothes swap

  • Your own reusable water bottle and utensils

  • An open mind and creative spirit!
