シンガポール経営大学（SMU）主催の"Lee Kuan Yew Global Business Plan Competition（LKYGBPC）"説明会を開催します！
LKYGBPCは、シンガポールの初代首相・Lee Kuan Yew氏の名を冠し、77ヵ国・1100以上の大学からエントリーが集まる世界屈指のビジネスコンテストです。今年度は都市ソリューションとサステナビリティをテーマに未来を変えるビジネスプランを募集します。
本コンテストの最大の魅力は、賞金総額2億円以上という破格の規模！さらに、メンタリングやVCのオフィスアワーなどシンガポールや東南アジアへのアクセスポートがしっかり用意されているのもポイントです。また、今話題のディープテックもバイオ/ヘルスケアを中心にトラックレコードを持ちます。過去5年間で、参加スタートアップは1,500億円以上の資金調達を果たしており、世界を舞台に飛躍するチャンスが詰まっています。
今回の説明会では、SMU現地担当学生が会場に参加しコンテストの概要から参加メリット、応募のポイントまで詳しく解説。さらに 「Go Global from Singapore: Singapore's Unique Advantage シンガポールがもたらすGo Globalの機会」というテーマでパネルディスカッションをおこない、そしてグローバル市場で成功するための秘訣を議論します。

We are excited to announce an information session for the "Lee Kuan Yew Global Business Plan Competition (LKYGBPC)", hosted by Singapore Management University (SMU)!
The LKYGBPC is a world-renowned business competition named after Singapore’s first Prime Minister, Lee Kuan Yew. It attracts entries from over 77 countries and more than 1,100 universities worldwide. This year, the competition seeks transformative business plans under the theme of Urban Solutions and Sustainability.
Why participate?
The competition offers a remarkable total prize pool of over S$2M! Participants will also gain access to mentoring, VC office hours, and other valuable resources, providing a gateway to Singapore and Southeast Asia. It also has strong track record for deeptech, especially for bio/healthcare. Over the past five years, participating startups have collectively raised more than US$1 B, making this competition a golden opportunity to launch globally.
In this session, a representative student from SMU will join the event in person to provide a detailed explanation of the competition, including its overview, benefits of participation, and key application points. Additionally, we will host a panel discussion on the theme: "Go Global from Singapore: Singapore's Unique Advantage", exploring the opportunities Singapore offers for global expansion and its role in driving success in the international market.

About the Lee Kuan Yew Global Business Plan Competition
Eligibility:
Targeting startups ranging from pre-revenue (idea to seed stage) to Series A revenue-generating early-stage startups.
Team Requirements:
At least one founding member must currently be, or have been within the past five years, a full-time student (vocational/undergraduate/master’s/doctoral) as of April 2020 or later.
