BioFi in Austin: A convergence for bioregionalists in the Edwards Plateau and Blackland Prairie bioregions
Please join the BioFi Project and the Center for Maximum Potential Building Systems for a gathering to discuss Bioregional Finance (BioFi), bioregional economies, organizing, and activation in the Edwards Plateau and Blackland Prairie bioregions.
Samantha Power from the BioFi Project will be visiting Austin from the Bay Area. She will give an update on what the BioFi Project is up to, how we can grow new ways of seeing and being in place through BioFi and how this might be catalyzed in these ecologically and culturally unique bioregions.
The Center for Maximum Potential Building Systems has been functioning as a bioregional hub in Austin for nearly 50 years. We will explore how MaxPot can continue to catalyze the shift to a bioregional economy in the Edward's Aquifer bioregion.
If you have ideas for supercharging the bioregional movement and the transition to a bioregional economy in this place, please bring your ideas to share!
