「シリコンアレー」は、ニューヨーク市マンハッタン南部からブルックリンに広がるスタートアップやテクノロジー企業が集積するエリアを指し、世界のスタートアップ都市ランキングではシリコンバレーに次ぐ第2位に位置付けられています。New York Silicon Alley Meetupは、NYのスタートアップ・イノベーション最新動向を発信し、現地エコシステムのキーパーソンと交流できるイベントとして2016年にスタートし、今回で12回目を迎えます。
今回は、ニューヨーク市経済開発公社（NYCEDC）のInternational PartnershipsディレクターAnne-Sophie Mahle氏によるニューヨーク市のスタートアップエコシステムおよび支援政策の解説に加え、ブルックリンの最先端イノベーション拠点NewlabのGarrett Winther氏による取組紹介、NYCEDC・Newlab・Square Up New Yorkによるパネルディスカッションを実施します。また日本からNY進出を目指すスタートアップ3社による英語ピッチを実施予定です。
