​MEETING
The architectural complexity of fullstack applications can make it difficult to determine where in the architecture certain problems occur. Consider an all-too-common bug ticket description like "this screen is really slow". Is the API call slow? Is the database fetch slow? Is the web server response slow? Knowing precisely where the problem exists is crucial to fixing it. Furthermore, devs should know about problems as soon as possible, instead of just through bug tickets. Observability technology delivers insight into complex architectural systems, providing devs with performance, error, and component information as the system executes. This talk will look at how to configure a simple React, NextJS, and Python fullstack app for observability.
