Expo Game Night
Game Night for Expo attendees and local specialty coffee professionals
SCA Expo can be an overwhelming experience, no matter how many times you’ve attended. There are plenty of parties and fun events to choose from during the week. Expo Game Night is for those seeking a chill, relaxing environment to connect with other coffee professionals. Meet new friends and catch up with old ones while farming, building a world, or hunting down the traitor in your midst.
As a game cafe, Coral Sword offers a wide menu of caffeinated and non-caffeinated drinks, as well as baked goods, appetizers, and pizza. By purchasing a food or drink item, the $5/person fee is waived if you want to borrow from their board game library. Any drink with oat milk in it is free, courtesy of Oatly. PLUS, 2025 US CIGS champion Jerry Truong will make a set of NA decaf coffee cocktails to sip on.
Don’t worry about showing up alone; board game groups are easily formed. The cafe will also still be open to the public during our event.
❗Please note that this is a sober (alcohol-free) event.

Game Night History
This is my 6th time hosting Expo Game Night and the first time it'll be at a game cafe! I created this event out of desperation for a quieter Expo party that nurtured connections. As an introvert and someone who doesn't drink alcohol, I wanted a space for those of us who sought the networking opportunities that Expo provides, but without the loud music and dark environments of many parties.
