About Event

Dive into the future of ocean technology with the Bay Area’s Blue Tech innovators for drinks, light bites, a technology showcase, jazz band and stunning views of the City. The ocean covers 70 percent of our planet, and the sector is ripe for disruption.

The following innovators will be showcasing:

CalWave develops technology that generates power from ocean waves and exports that power to microgrids and utility-scale grids. They will showcase their x1 pilot unit, which was deployed offshore San Diego for nearly a year.

Dolphin Labs enables enhanced maritime domain awareness to improve the safety and security of our offshore natural resources and critical infrastructure through smaller scale wave energy systems.

Natel specializes in data-driven hydraulic design of FishSafe™ hydropower turbines to improve downstream fish passage.

Navier builds all-electric hydrofoiling vessels that soar above the water on underwater wings. They will showcase their all-electric hydrofoil marine vessel.

Bedrock Ocean provides high resolution seafloor data via rapid, fleet-based, autonomous surveys. They will showcase their AUV technology.

Deep Ocean Exploration and Research (DOER) provides access to the ocean through responsible and sustainable design, manufacture, and deployment of cutting edge submersibles and related technologies.

Principle Power drives the deployment of offshore wind in deep waters through its patented, proven, and bankable WindFloat® technology portfolio. The company will present its operational projects in Europe, along with upcoming solutions tailored for California.

Oomee is the first of its kind: a delicious red seaweed drink designed to help curb cravings and support everyday wellness.

Phykos builds low-cost, versatile autonomous vessels for ocean data, awareness, and carbon removal.

OceanWell develops modular, efficient deep-sea water farms to combat water scarcity while protecting marine ecosystems.

T3MP3ST is developing autonomous EEVs (Electric Exploration Vehicles), the Maverick GT, sets a new standard in watercraft, accommodating up to four passengers and reaching speeds exceeding 80mph.

Primitives is a biodesign company that develops advanced materials to solve the planet’s most critical environmental challenges. Its consumer-facing architectural surfaces brand, MARBLIS™ brings this vision to the built environment. Its debut innovation, MARBLIS Urchinite™ is the world's first bio marble made from purple sea urchins, engineered to support ocean ecosystem repair and design performance.

Network partners:

Energy Innovators Network (EIN) serves to connect people to resources through its newly established Hub for Blue Green Innovation, with multiple Bay Area partners and allies.

TMA BlueTech is proud to support and promote this event through its digital channels, helping to highlight the cutting-edge innovators shaping the future of ocean technology.
