Green Picnic #3

​UPDATE 10/10: We’ve rescheduled this event for Sunday 10/27! Thank you for your patience and we’re so excited to see you in a couple weeks!

​Come build community with Gen Zers in the Bay Area who are passionate about taking climate action through their careers!

Please fill out the survey to join our community slack prior to our picnic!

​​This picnic will be potluck style; bring some of your fave nonalcoholic drinks and vegetarian and vegan snacks to share!

​And please bring spare blankets (or towels) for folks to sit on <3

​​Event plan:

• ​​​2-2:40pm: chatting and meeting new people

• ​​​2:40-3pm: smaller group connections

• ​​​3-4pm: hanging out with new friends :) 

​​​Guidelines:

• ​​​Be Respectful: Treat everyone with kindness and respect. Listen actively when others are speaking. Avoid interrupting or dominating conversations.

• ​​​Be Friendly and Approachable: Smile and introduce yourself to new people, especially those who may have showed up alone! Be open to meeting new people and making connections. 

• ​​​Be Mindful of Time: Keep conversations balanced, allowing others to speak and share. Respect the event’s schedule and timing.

• ​​​Enjoy Yourself: Have fun making friends and meeting peers who share your passion for climate! Remember, everyone is there to make connections just like you.
